Upgrades

Scanner Update file (Version 4.3 or higher)

Download Scanner file (Eztw32.DLL) for each workstation

Starting with version 3.5 and higher, upgrades are available from within the software under Help Menu (select Updates). Enter PWMTC39 in the registration box. For older versions, please download the following file to upgrade to Practice-Web dental version 3.5. The minimum version required is 3.1. Click on Help Menu and select 'About' for current version number. Do not download this file if current version number is less than 3.1(go to Updates section for version 3.0 to 3.1 update). A password is required. Call 1-800-845-9379.

Practice-Web Version 4.3 Upgrade

It includes updated user help. Press F1 key. Minimum version 3.9 is required for the upgrade.

1. Install Microsoft.Net 2.0 from the version 3.9 CD (bottom of Install section) OR download from this page to your windows desktop.
2. Install Microsoft.Net 2.0 on each workstation including the main computer (server).
3. Exit Practice-Web from all stations except server. While in Practice-Web on the server, press F12 key.
4. Enter PWMTC43 in the registration box and click on Check for Updates (Internet connection required).
5. Click on download button and then click Ok after the download.
6. Click on Unzip and enter the password (call 1-800-845-9379) followed by enter key.
7. If you have more than one PC, copy Free Dental folder from C:\Program Files of Server to each workstation's C:\Program Files\.
8. Right-click on Practice-Web icon on the workstation and select properties. Change the target in shortcut icon on the workstation to C:\Program Files\Free Dental\FreeDental.exe. Change Start in folder ->C:\Program Files\Free Dental\
9. Start Practice-Web on the main computer. The database will be converted to 4.3 in few minutes.

A new file whatsNewInVersion4x.pdf will be copied to your desktop. Double-click to review the new features.Microsoft.NET 2.0 may require Windows Installer depending upon your windows XP version. Download Windows Installer and Genuine check from here to your desktop and then double-click to run.

User Query Reports Double-click and download to desktop. Then Stop MySQL from My computer. Right-click and select Manage followed by Services. Right-click on MySQL to stop then minimize. After the files are copied, Start MySQL.-

Health History Questionnaire - Double-click and download to desktop. Doulble-click to copy to the database (use only for version 3.9 to 4.5 upgrade).
